Writing Assessment and Moderation in Years 5 and 6

Wednesday 16th June 2021  10am - 12noon

This online session aims to provide teachers with an opportunity to consider end-of-year writing assessment and to take part in cross-school moderation of their pupils’ work to secure their judgements.

In small breakout groups with shared screens, teachers will be able to share and discuss their pupils’ writing with colleagues from other schools to agree or refine judgements and to consider next steps.

Participants will:

• Unpick the National Curriculum and Teacher Assessment Framework criteria for Writing in years 5 and 6

• Participate in moderation of pupils’ writing in order to discuss, refine and secure judgements and next steps

Please note that due to the interactive nature of the session, a ticket admits one delegate only.
